Why Prune?

Trees in the wild don’t require pruning. They compete with other plants and animals for the resources they need to thrive, and live within the limitations of their site. It is when trees come in contact with human needs that pruning is required. This clip from TreeCare’s how-to video Prune Like a Pro, describes some of the reasons that pruning is necessary.
